One of my favourite pieces from a city renowned for it’s graffiti art! Sadly, it has now been painted over.
(love the bird in it’s tummy, and the teardrop!)

My style is contemporary whilst firmly rooted in realism. I work in a number of mediums, including pastel, charcoal and conte, pen and ink, gouache, watercolour, acrylics, pencil, photography, and mixed media, and am currently painting in oils. I find that changing and experimenting with mediums keeps me fresh and open to learning. I especially love capturing the human face and figure in oils, and photographing the urban landscape, including the amazing graffiti to be found in Melbourne.

Wonderful take Roz, My daughter has just come back from Berlin and has brought back urban graffitti from there, but it’s not as powerful as this .
the pink bird is the guy i paint with his name same same at that time abouth this time last year we but heaps of our own monet into the ally as it was looking so bad covered in tags so we went hard out for 7 weeks to get it looking good. until it was nearly done someone come and covered the whole city scape we did with someones name.
shame really.
Thanks, Tod, it is a shame, it was a fabulous piece of art! I’m glad I captured it!

I captured this exact some piece at the beggining of the year and i KNEW there was more to it than what was meeting my eye! (the only part that still remains is the cat head and even that has been altered and tagged over : (
Still a great piece though and still demands attention with what little of it that is left. Thank you so much for sharing such amazing art : )
congratulations TOP TEN in Graffiti challenge
