The White Tree, Benalla : aerial photograph

This dead tree and it’s shadow was photographed from a balloon. For someone who is not too great with heights, I was hanging over the edge taking shots!

    Wow! awesome!
What a great perspective and I love the shadow
This works so well as a b&w shot

    how ghostly
    how sad

Yet it would still be a brilliant roost for a flock of birds!
Wouldn’t it be spectacular with a foliage of cockies or galas!

    well done! ~ adg :o)

superbe! la blancheur de quelques branches suffisent à donner un relief impressionnant à ce sol de terre, avec la complicité de l’astre soleil
white wood, black shadow…nothing make lot feeling

Wow Roz – what a capture – stunning and stark – as though viewing, for the first time, an alien landscape from above….

Yes, T, could have been, as I took this shot from an air balloon!
