    I love it – how unique. I’m guessing tha local council are the vandals in this case and that the pots are someone’s imaginative idea of keeping the tree alive???

    Yes I would have to agree that the Council must have cut the lovely tree down and some very clever people decided to voice their opinion lol. I think it’s wonderfully Australian and fabulously caring

    Maybe another title could be ‘Tree goes potty’. They are quite expensive pots at that size. If the tree starts sprouting again you’ll never get those pots off without
    cutting them off.

    Wow it needs a possum box to make a further point.
    I love it (not) when councils ‘trim’ trees for power lines. They supposedly employ arborists – tree butchers more like it.
