Beautiful! Wish this were my view.
Thank you so much Lisa – we do realise we are lucky although at times we tend to miss all the shops in the big towns.

Stunning capture Roy, amazing colours and well framed. Such a beautiful scene to have on your back door step
Many thanks Andrea – we are lucky. We have Kiwi’s in that forest but we have yet to spot them !
Re the framing – I have to do it this way cause the trees are growing so fast they are just leaving me this little window but they are far too massive to try and cut back.

Myra
Thank you so much Myra both for your kind comments and the favourite ! My secret, with shots like this, just a tad of post-editing – I darken them a bit then a whisker of mid-tones up or down and finally
a drop of lightness and hey presto, ( I hope ) something with a bit of bight !

Thank you so much Jude – we only have a 1/4 acre but the rest of the backyard is Opua State Forest.
Most of our section is native bush. Thank you also for the favourite.
