New Zealand’s oldest stone building, situated at Kerikeri on the Kerikeri Inlet, Bay of Islands.
Building dates from 1832 – 1836 and built by an ex-convict stonemason from new South Wales, Australia for the Wesleyan Missionaries. It was then passed into the hands of the Kemp family in 1929 and used as a general store.
