This is part of the Viaduct Harbour down town Auckland,New Zealand is very much the ‘in area’ at the moment with plenty to see and loads of bars and cafe’s.
The rubber duck is part of an advertising campaign for a new TV channel in NZ.
In the days when I was on the Pilot Boat this was where Auckland’s fishing fleet tied up and also accommodated the Auckland Harbour Board workshops. The two yachts in the fore-ground ( part of Auckland’s charter fleet) are tied up where the Pilot Boat refuelled twice a week.

    What a cool bathtub – rubber ducky, boats… :)

  • Thanks so much Cathleen – the promotors gave my granddaughter a small bath sized duck in fact the last one they had – she was rapt with it.

Nice boats, but I want a ride on the big yellow duck! LOL

  • Thank you AuntDot – some of those boats were so

large but even the duck dwarfed them – height wise.
