The Animal in Me Part V

The Animal in Me..
A series of duality. Of the beauty and the beast within. Feminine- masculine, yin – yang Shiva- Kali or animus – anima aspect.
It has a strong familiarity to my other series My Shadow and me and My Guardian Angel Sometimes it shows its animal face. That´s what i try to express in this series.

There are several faces in the image.

For you who like Rock
Inspired by The Animal In Me – Motley Crue

And for you who like it more “slow and classical
Arvo Part – Stabat Mater (What a pearl !!! :))

This is a composite. First image is almost untouched and created with long exposure
with a flashlight. Second layer is worked in CS. Both blended and mixed in CS.

Thanks for stopping by and look into my world for a minute.

This is an animal that is very certain of it’s own being… very centred and secure in it’s self in amongst the continuous change and flow of life… I think it can be good to have an ‘animal’ like that in us sometimes… they can be quick to recognise when we are threatened and react strongly in defence… this can be a very difficult ability to acquire but so important to being able to survive in this world… K xx

  • roy skogvold replied

you are very right Kallena. It´s strength has kept me alive many times i should have been six feet under. But it also many times deprives me from the one thing i long for the most, and that will eventually kill me inside, if i´m not able to find the ballancepoint.
You know whats been said among psychologist. If a human suppress the animal to much, you get a sick animal ergo a sick human. But if the animal is given to much space, it will kill the human part. Now i´m blabbering… sorry

    thank you Kallena :)

You’re not ‘blabbering’ at all Roy – you’re totally right – the most important thing is to find the balance… and that can be very very hard. K xx
