Chapter I
I walk down the street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk
I fall in.
I am lost … I am helpless.
It isn’t my fault.
It takes me forever to find a way out.
Chapter II
I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I pretend I don’t see it.
I fall in again.
I can’t believe I am in the same place
but, it isn’t my fault.
It still takes a long time to get out.
Chapter III
I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I see it is there.
I still fall in … it’s a habit.
my eyes are open
I know where I am.
It is my fault.
I get out immediately.
Chapter IV
I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I walk around it.
Chapter V
I walk down another street.

WOW! What a Macro Roy, this is excellent I love these little guys; been waiting for them to come back around this year so I can get some shots of them… Great music choice also my friend
roy skogvold replied
Hello s Angi :)
They are marvelous. The oldest living “unchanged” insects. Look the same as when the dinosaurs walked the earth (just smaller)
Thanks Angi, my friend :x

Roy – You have left me with no words again!!! This is one of the most incredibly amazing perfect captures of a dragonfly I have EVER seen! I have been in constant awe of anyone who had the incredible skill and patience to capture these incredibly swift creatures!!! – and you dedicated it to me!!!??? The words also say very very much my friend – it can take so much time to learn that things can feel hopeless – but we CAN learn – and move on down another street that we choose for ourselves – I am very happy to have met you roy :)))

roy – is the berry the dragonfly is sitting on one of what we call a ‘cloudberry’? We cant get them at all here in Australia but I ate some about 20 years ago when I was in Norway and Finland – and I think I remember going picking them once in Latvia about 15 years ago… very special berries… and make a VERY strong drink from them that goes SO well with vodka…:)
roy skogvold replied
Yes Kallena it´s cloudberry :)
Had to Google it to be sure
Love to eat them when i´m walking where (and when) they grow.
That is true. The Finnish, i think, is making a liquor with them as ingredient. It´s GOOD :)
Colleen Milburn

OMG! how do you get so close and clear?
? WOW!
roy skogvold replied
The dragonfly tends to fly round an area in “circles” and make stops at the same places again and again. Find a spot like this, set up your gear, camouflage and wait…... and wait…. :)
Thanks Kelli :)
