In 1999 i was fortunate enough to get some casual work at Heide Art Gallery.My job was to paint the walls white and to fix up plinths then paint them white or grey.I had alway’s been interested in art but could never afford materials living in the U.K.I saw Mirkka Mora’s exhibiton,then Albert Tucker died and i saw every single picture that his wife bequeathed to the Gallery it was a very special time that i hold with fond memories it was inspiring and insightful seeing works that no-one will ever see.Since that moment i have painted,and painted and painted and painted.
