Mandurama Fire Station

Mandurama (pronounced Man-dyoo-r’mah) Fire Station. Part of the NSW Rural Fire Service. Mandurama is a village located on the Mid Western Highway about 40-45 minutes South West of Bathurst. It does not have the normal urban fire protection of the NSW Fire Brigades as the the village is only relatively small and is reasonably close to other urban towns of Cowra and Blayney.

I love these ‘Old Shed’ types of fire stations as they show the genuine bush Australian capabilities with just making do, and shows that it’s not all about the equipment but the people make the Brigade too.

Mandurama Fire Station belongs to the following groups:

*1:1 with the News (Images Only With a Story), All About Fire, Art from the Workplace, Fire Station and Rural NSW Available for sale as

Greeting Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints and Framed Prints
