    Thanks Michael. This is the Menai suspension bridge connecting the Welsh mainland with the island of Anglesey. in my opinion, it is one of the engineering marvels of the world and is still as strikingly beautiful today as it was when it was 1st constructed, in 1826.

    I always thought this was designed by that Isambard bloke, the one who gave his Kingdom to Brunnel but it wasn’t was it it was that other bloke who did the viaducts.
