Here is Miss Phoebee Dee, my BFF she is about 14 years old now and is the most precious thing to me. She is mostly blind, arthritic and is in heart failure, but she still can throw a sock around with the best of em and get some move on if she needs to. Phoebes is a Shih Tzu. Her Rap name is P-Dog!

    And she is a shih tzu, right? Beautiful portrait of Miss Phoebee Dee, Diane! One of my shih tzu is 15, sees great but can’t hear worth a darn, is arthritic and in heart failure, and I love her to pieces.

    Hi Teresa, yes she is a Shih Tzu, she cant hear real well either ;-) do you have pics up on rb of yours? my last Shih Tzu, Beau, made it to 16 yrs old then got cancer. It breaks my heart that she is getting older, I am sooo in denial.

    Yes, she was a real go getter, once jumped out the window of my truck to try to catch a bird that flew right by our window! fortunately I was only going 10 mph and she landed on 2 feet thick of deep grass and bounced, then looked at me like: “Why did you toss me out mom?” scared the you know what outa me! She would dive in lakes, rivers you name it she would get into it!

    Awe, what an adorable portrait of your BFF! It’s so sad to see them ail as they get older. Our 9 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is just a sweetie, but she has Cushings Disease and I don’t know how much longer she’ll be around! She still in many ways, doesn’t seem sick, but in others, you can see a gradual decline. I don’t even want to think about her no longer being around!

    I so relate to what you are saying. Sometimes P seems like a puppy still, then I watch her struggling to breath and walk and see and it just breaks my heart.

    She is a doll!! We have two Shih Tzu’s ourselves. They are named Harley and Chevy (my 12 yr old son named them!) and are a year old and two respectively. They are such good boys and so sweet!

    Give thanks to God for let her be with you so many years! My sweet green eye Shih Tzu “Tiny” was only one year old, one day a couple months ago he votit all his body blood was in the animal hospital for about a week, but they said he was terminal, so he was put to sleep, he love me so much, that in one year he give to me a life time love! I love my Tiny soooo much! I miss him very much! His photo is in my album.
    So thanks God for her long life! She is gorgeous! God bless her.
