About as close to impressionism as I get, but still the work was very close to the reference photo I took.
I climbed a eucalyptus tree with my digital camera at dusk one day because the light that filtered through at the beginning of sunset was simply beautiful but almost unbelievable to the eye with it’s reds, purples and oranges highlighting the trees.
I’ve refrained from putting this on the Bubble until now, because my wife Claire started her own oil version at the same time as a husband and wife artistic project, except a more abstract version, but she is struggling to get motivated to paint at the moment, but enough is enough and I can’t wait! Sorry baby ;)
