The love of my life, my heart’s desire, my greatest reward from the Gods for the hard lessons I’ve had to learn.
This young lady Claire O’Brien and I are to be wed on the 31st of October in the Australian version of Beltane (which is traditionally in May in the northern hemisphere), a Pagan time of celebration where the God and Godess are reunited finally.
A notion that couldn’t be more apt, as Claire and I met on Red Bubble in April this year, fell deeply in love, despite 10,000 miles between us.
She travelled to Australia alone and stayed with me for 5 weeks in June/July, and we knew we were born for each other, without question.
I asked her to marry me while she was here, and with immense courage we sacrificed our time with each other once again for distance, in order for her to apply for immigration, which would not have been possible without financial help from kind hearted family members, particularly Mary and Clive. She went back to England 12 weeks ago, and the visa was finally approved last week. She will arrive back in my arms in a week, a moment we have been hoping, dreaming, and begging for.
This is a true romantic story with a happy ending :)

    I never get sick of people saying it, although sometimes it can be frustration when people say ‘Nice Photo’, when in the time I have put into my efforts I could have taken hundreds of photos :)
    But I guess that’s a compliment in itself!
