awesome work,it is hard to do self portrates as you try to draw what you want to think you look like,and not how you realy look.thats why i cant draw the elephant man(me),so have never done one.just great work

Holy…..!!! Drawing skills aside, this is an incredible work! The reference is gorgeous, beautiful soft natural light, and dynamic composition. I like your subtle handling of the bedsheets and the dramatic lighting on the wall. Doesn’t hurt that you are such a handsome model. I know this phrase is overused, but can’t resist here. You Rock!

You are excrutiatingly talented and this is an exceptional piece just as a photograph before you even put pencil to paper. I wish I could articulate how looking at such a work of art makes me feel, chilling!

i’m have to be more patient with my time with my pieces though

I LOVE the feeling that you added to it! The reflective quality to the guitar finish, using your eraser to capture the uncut string ends… very, very cool!!

heh.No need…one opinion in a sea of adoration – let your ego fly, fella. :) If I just dared to do a sp… my egocentric nature knows, though, that it darent take on my critical soul. Besides, I get too pissed off with features. Tell me you moved eyes and lips a dozen times prior to being happy, coz the wip pics suggest utter calm ease, and that cant be true!

I can understand why, its the important and complicated part – critical eyes will unconsciously forgive a slight variation on the thigh, or the shine on an inanimate. object, but the face has to be right or its not a portrait.. mail coming your way….

The way the light was captured along the side of your face resting on your forearm… brings to mind a certain’ innocent sexiness’;)

This portrait is so evocative, I’m breathless. Emotion, texture, temperature, the pressure of the strings on the skin of your arms, the cool smoothness of the wood, the warmth emanating from your skin, even the sound presence of the room. I’m rarely hit with so much sensation in a single glance. Stunning.
