wow!!!!! That’s Mick Dittman right? I use to work at Randwick many moons ago and worked closely with Darren Beadman back when he was just a young and upcoming star. The GREATEST and most loving horseman I’ve ever known. This is just superb, I LOVE this shot. Would love to render this in acrylic someday…wow

  • RoughDiamond replied

Hey Tahnja :) ... I’m not sure who that is but I can find out. I shot this at the Donald racecourse during the Warracknabeal Cup last month (Feb 08). If you’d like to render this I’m sure we could come to some sort of arrangement :) x

  • RoughDiamond replied

Oh and he wasn’t scratched by the way, that’s just what I called it. If Mick himself sees this and would like to offer a different name for the photo he’s most welcome ;) x

lol…thank you so much for letting me know who it is. I sure would like to render this but later on, I have this image saved in my favourites so I will most certainly talk to you again later on. Thanks

What a great shot! I love that you’ve used sepia rather than colour … which racing is known for! It works really well.
