I am currently a student at the University of Akron where I’m working towards a degree in Art Education. My area of concentration is painting. I love painting as it provides a great escape from my busy schedule. My painting style varies from time to time. Right now I am working on a series (whenever I have an opportunity) that is inspired by the painting’s of Mark Rothko. I feel that the absence of any forceful content is what makes these works so successful which is something that I particularly like in a world full of constant images and information.
