Possibly! It was never adequately explained (to me at least) what Dig Dug was, what he was doing or why other creatures were trying to kill him. For all we know, he was an environmental menace and the creatures were simply trying to protect their habitat…

Nice one… you can’t beat the restriction of 16×16 pixels! I did some graphics for C64 and it was actually great fun trying to overcome the restrictions of ‘fat pixels’… :)
