Join our new Facebook group!

Just started a Facebook group called “The Tee Collective”.
so we can continue to discuss and share everything t-shirty.

I can’t get a link to work, so drop me a bubblemail. Stoopid linky things. :@

Au Revoir

Until RedBubble returns the layout of the site to the previous design, I shall not be logging onto the site any more. I have made my feelings known about this revamp – it is ugly, clunky, counter intuitive and unpleasant to use.

For those who wish to remain in contact, please ‘friend’ me at Facebook:

Otherwise, I’ll see you on the flipside!

Article on Fonts at the BBC website

A good article on fonts here

Love this quote:

If you think of ice cream, it (Helvetica) is a cheap, nasty, supermarket brand made of water, substitutes and vegetable fats. The texture is wrong and it leaves a little bit of a funny aftertaste.

Alan Moore Competiton

Wired have an Alan Moore competition running at the moment. All you have to do is:

Tell us why Moore is one of the multiverse’s most important writers. You could win a pair of tickets to either night of Moore’s London double-header July 29 and 30, as well as an autographed Unearthing box set, due July 6 from Lex Records.

The Sheer Joy Of Stickers

By now everyone’s seen the sticker option we now have on RedBubble for our t-shirt designs. I just ordered 12 of them. I thought I’d just post some of my designs and how they look as stickers as much for my own enjoyment as anyone elses:

Design A Condom Tin & Win $1,000

The Australian Government have launched a competition to design a condom tin in order to combat the spread of STIs (remember when they were called STDs?). All the details are here however the competition is only open to Australian residents aged 16 and over. Good luck!

Behance?

Is anyone else on Behance? I’ve just joined and am still trying to figure it out. This is my page. Do we get invited to ‘circles’?

Radio Free Charleston

Rudy Panucci from RFC96 has just created a video named after my Storm In A Teacup shirt in which he wears said shirt throughout the whole thing. Now I’d never met Rudy before, he befriended me on Facebook after buying the shirt. Ain’t the internet a wonderful thang?

Font Halp!

A good friend of mine has a new book coming out in April and apparently he has one of the characters in it wearing my Robot Monkey Love t-shirt. As such, I thought I’d tidy up the design a bit and make the transparencies work as they should. HOWEVER, it turns out I’ve lost the working file and have had to recreate the whole thing from scratch. Luckily I still had most of the elements kicking around on the hard drive. The only thing I cannot work out for the life of me is what font I used. Anyone recognise it?
