Ross Robinson

In Absentia

After nine and a half years in Sydney, I am packing up and heading back to live in Far North Queensland where I grew up. Rather than heading straight up though, I am taking a bit of trip down south, then west and then back up north. If anyone wants to follow the adventure, I shall be attempting to upkeep a blog here:

As a result, I won’t be spending much time on RedBubble, so please don’t be offended if I’m not replying to things, or commenting on your brilliant work. Normal service shall be resumed in about, oh, 3 months or so?

Down south as in, Melbourne? As in, where the RedBubble office is? As in, the office where we love visitors?

AWESOME! Have fun on your adventure! Where in FNQ do you hail from?

  • Ross Robinson replied

I was born and grew up in Atherton but we’re planning to settle in Cairns. Not quite ready to move out of city life yet.

I have lived in Cairns before (a long, long time ago) but my most recent (recent being about 11 years ago) venture up there I lived in Mirriwinni!

Beautiful part of the world. I am sure it will be a nice return to the slower pace for you after Sydney too.

Best of luck sir, don’t do anything silly…unless you plan to take pictures and share it with everyone =D
    Have a killer time sir!

  • Ross Robinson replied

I shall do. And any time you’re in FNQ, we’ll have a spare room.
