It’s the purple lenses that does it imo.
Purple is such an underrated colour for creating intense contrasts.

The simplicity of the image combined with the bold items and intense purple all come together brilliantly.
    Nice work indeed.

Did you try putting a lightsource inside the mask, thus shining out of the goggles? Would be interested to see how that’d look.

i love it when i look at something and think ‘i couldn’t do that’, because that’s got to be ‘the bar’.

reckon this drops pretty flush into that category.

if i had a credit card i’d order it for my bedroom.

could waffle on for hours about the deviant associations for the gas mask, but i’m late for my appointment already.

hey rossco i didn’t know you’re a fireman- and a backdraft specialist- i need your help!

please please please if you’ve got five minutes read the second half of ‘metro’ in my journal and tell me if the fire there is a realistic scenario (i just made it up as i went along), and if not, what would really happen- the story is the fulcrum in a much larger work i am writing, and i want to build the fire up with much more detail. i would reallllly appreciate your professional advice because russian firemen are sort of hard to communicate with and i don’t know any others.

    cheers.
