The last piece of remaining track from the South Maitland Railways at Hexham Nsw. SMR Pty Ltd was one of Australias last commercial steam locomotive railways to operate in Australia, closing in the 1980’s.

I love this. The little tufts of grass growing on the tracks are so cute. Again my son the official train freak thinks it’s really cool too. He’s the reason I joined this group, it gives me a new subject to explore in my photography, plus I like trains as well :)
