The foundation stone was laid by Thomas Mort’s widow on March 18th 1880,the buildind was finished in 1901.
All the woodwork is oak,the stained glass window were bought from England.

The historic village of Bodalla is nestled snugly between the Great Dividing Mountain Range and the blue Pacific Ocean. Settled in 1867 this beautiful little country getaway is just minutes from the major centres of Narooma, Moruya, Tuross Head, four secluded beaches at Potato Point or scenic drive to the gold mining district of Nerigundah.

    Whenever I need to say where I came from (Was born) I say: Gouda , you know, where the cheede comes from. Because I know that they will know that better than the beautiful townhall (of Gouda) where my parents were married, or De Waag, where that cheese was weighed, or the St Jan (John)‘s church.
    But then, again, I’d only known the name Bodalla, associated with cheese and now you’ve changed that!
