Yellowstone -starting to snow
Just as we drove into Yellowstone National Park it started to snow. The scenery was stunning. I hope to return one day to take some more photographs here

Thanks for the lovely comment.. yes the road went down around the side of the mountain like that… it was snowing there but 3 miles down the road it was clear.. it was so strange…

To be honest Ken we were in the car and had come to a standstill in the snow storm and so I simply took photos of things around us and this image resulted…apparently at one time it was covered with trees. not sure if it was logged or fire or even perhaps volcanic activity but looked so darn beautiful i couldnt resist… Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a wonderful comment
