LEICHHARDT, AUSTRALIA

“I grew up in Central Western NSW, where I started painting as a child and making music as a teenager. Since then my main passions have always been art and music.

I began selling my paintings and prints in 1987 in NSW and Queensland, and whilst I spent many years working on my art, I was also very involved in the music industry as a Singer/Songwriter for about 15 years.

I held my first Solo Exhibition of my Outback Series in Broken Hill in September 2006 and since then have held 9 Exhibitions in Sydney.

I have held Solo Exhibitions in conjunction with International Conservation Services at Westmead and Nepean Hospitals in 2009 and 2010.

Over the last few years I have also sold a range of prints through retail outlets in Sydney, including Harvey Norman and John Cootes, and have done many private commissions.

I am passionate about painting the Outback and the human body, and believe it or not – at times I find a correlation. But lately I find myself focusing closer to home with impressions of Inner Sydney – it’s aspects and it’s characters – colourful and vibrant.
So watch this space!

I work in acrylics usually, and at this stage have a body of work of about 200 paintings, about half of which, much to my amazement, have been sold!

I love what I do!!"
