Artist's Description

Many of my own images in this work ,Ethel’s photograph was scanned & all were processed in Microsoft Digital Art Pro 7 .Once again ,Ethel , the beautiful woman is a Great Aunt by marriage, such a glorious young bride , stricken with tuberculosis she died in her early twenties . Great Uncle Bill ,so devastated he never ever had another Love until he was 86 years old . Amazingly he fell in love and married once again ……….it was always an amusing family tale to know that both he and his lovely new wife ended up in coronary care on their honeymoon , she was one year younger than Bill…………..both recovered and lived well into their nineties ……….a precious last few years for two treasures in love
Ethels’ beauty inspired me to do this work featuring sonnet 18 by William Shakespeare
