Wolf's Cry

In midnight blue he hails the moon
His time has come, there’s no more soon

Lupine eyes through limpid sky
Seeks divine to question why?

Why he’s forsaken, by us, the other
Why our betrayel to nature’s mother

There will come no answer upon this night
No salvation, no respite

Gently now he slips away
The ancient warrior is now the prey

A single print on virgin snow
No more fight, no more foe

A haunting cry on one last breath
Weeps the tale of an ungodly death
