A second view of the wonderful primeval palms in mist…

What appeared to be a lovely mist last Saturday morning in the mountains turned out to be a tad more heavy and wetting! However we did manage to bag a few moody images … well worth the cold and dark!

Taken this last October while attending the Photography & Art Exhibition in aid of Mt Wilson Irvine Rural Fire Service. Congratulations to the RedBubblers who exhibited and sold! A fabulous outcome for all concerned (and NEXT year we trust even more RBers nip on up the Mountain – not only for the great art and photography but for the “to-die-for” home cooked food and spectacular Spring Gardens on display).

I suffer from viewfinder vision (find myself visualising a frame around everything I see) so my genre is “anything that moves and most things that don’t”!!

I don’t so much wish to document places and things, as to evoke feeling and emotion.

This leads to a diverse portfolio and constantly overloaded external hard drives…not to mention some burning of the midnight oil as I keep looking for that elusive perfect process for yet another ‘masterpiece’!!!

I think the good Lord sits on His thrown and says… Rosalie is going to take pictures today, so I will give her a mist as she always brings out it’s beauty. Such a wonderfully framed photo, it is so balanced. The best to you my friend.

  • Very pleased it meets with your approval Roger … there’s nothing like a mist to bring out the best in a scene.
