I suffer from viewfinder vision (find myself visualising a frame around everything I see) so my genre is “anything that moves and most things that don’t”!!

I don’t so much wish to document places and things, as to evoke feeling and emotion.

This leads to a diverse portfolio and constantly overloaded external hard drives…not to mention some burning of the midnight oil as I keep looking for that elusive perfect process for yet another ‘masterpiece’!!!

Oh boy, I bet it was fun setting up your camera to get a good exposure with all that coloured light bouncing back at you!. Great piece of work Rosalie – and the R1 played it’s part well too!
    Take care
    Peter

  • This was in a shed with a few windows Peter – always a challenge without the higher ISO ability but the R1 is a ‘details’ shooter as you know with a magic lens so I was happy enough with this shot. Thanks for the great encouragement as always.

Were these bottles full of spirits at one stage, now released? Or may there have been mysterious medicinal compounds, most efficacious in every way? Your hands are still steady and the most venerable R1 still the camera of choice. Top capture and presentation, as ever. :)george

  • Looks like all the spirits are now free George! There are at least nine in the house apparently – who knows where the rest went!! Actually there were also wonderful tins and containers which claimed to have contained various strange compounds – maybe we should source some of these -they may be more effective than modern medicine! Pleased you like the shot … I struggle a bit without the mega ISO of the newer fangled cameras but some of these shots with some ambient light seem to come up OK. Thank you also for the favouriting …
