Not forgotten ... Temora Museum NSW by

Wonderful old vehicles on display at Temora Museum.

Comprised of multiple buildings, all packed with memorabilia and relics from the past, the museum grounds even showcase a small church, a small school, and Sir Donald Bradman’s family slab hut in which he was raised, all relocated and carefully restored to keep the original appearance. Sheds dedicated to various makes of machinery, old ambulances, themed displays etc will keep the visitor occupied for hours! Combined with the Aviation Museum at the other end of town, there is certainly a weekend’s worth of great photo opportunities to be had!

PS This happens to be less than an hour’s drive from Junee so if you would like to add a day or two to next March’s Rhythm ’n Rail Rumble, you could maximise your time and include Temora in your round trip!

I suffer from viewfinder vision (find myself visualising a frame around everything I see) so my genre is “anything that moves and most things that don’t”!!

I don’t so much wish to document places and things, as to evoke feeling and emotion.

This leads to a diverse portfolio and constantly overloaded external hard drives…not to mention some burning of the midnight oil as I keep looking for that elusive perfect process for yet another ‘masterpiece’!!!

The good old Holden Ute and an International ambulance! A blast from the past for sure. The ute’s been through the wars, not unusual for cars on bush properties. Temora looks like it’s just been added to the “Must Visit” list. Once again, a great picture and presentation. :)george

  • Thanks so much for the fav George – they had heaps of really well preserved old vehicles. I’m so pleased someone’s seen fit to rescue them and not let them rust away in a paddock somewhere!

Memories. Great old cars. I don’t think our cars of today will stand the time.

Very nice to have them well aligned in a museum for visitors to see and shoot and maybe pay an entrance fee, rather than rusting in a paddock. I won’t miss it at my next rumble in Aussie!!
