I suffer from viewfinder vision (find myself visualising a frame around everything I see) so my genre is “anything that moves and most things that don’t”!!

I don’t so much wish to document places and things, as to evoke feeling and emotion.

This leads to a diverse portfolio and constantly overloaded external hard drives…not to mention some burning of the midnight oil as I keep looking for that elusive perfect process for yet another ‘masterpiece’!!!

Love these heritage places…. so much to see!! Nicely captured!

  • Aren’t they wonderful? We are fortunate they are keeping it open for the public. Sometimes ‘sets’ are taken down after filming which is a shame. Glad you like it Wendi – thank you

    Excellent, love the detail.

  • Superb buildings – shame it was either glarey, or incredibly stormy so lighting was tricky. It is certainly worth another visit. A bushranger series called Wild Boys has been filmed using these buildings as the set, and is currently showing on TV … as it is only half an hour from my place there will be more visits coming up! Thanks Warren.

    G’day Rosalie!
Sounds like a wild time was had by all, with the storm. None up this way. Your R1 is certainly up there with the best, as is your processing and presentation. :)george

  • Apparently even a tree came down! But all cleared to humidity afterwards. Thanks for the kind words and fav George.

Excellent work Rosalie. Wish I had been there. Di had to do some mentoring at a club event and I had to go to a presentation at North Sydney…..oh well Junee awaits !!!

  • Thanks for the fav mate. I was saying at the lunch table, it felt like a time warp – back to Hill End, with the old culprits all sitting around chatting. You guys are becoming so world famous we’ll have to make an appointment to see you … :) Hope you had a great day. xx

Great shot Rosalie. You don’t waste any time.
BTW, noone got any shots of the lightning because we had our cameras packed away to keep them dry from the horizontal rain !
I’ll hang on to my dray shot for a bit in case you want to put yours up seeing as the vantage point for it was your idea.

  • Goodness Michael – please put your shot up of the dray!! I won’t get around to it for ages now – have a few busy days. Will look forward to seeing it on a bigger screen.
