One of the many relics housed in the surrounds of this unique place.
The building was an old flour mill which burned down some years ago. The restoration has been excellent – aged timber and recycled bricks were used, ‘unfinished’ walls create ambient nooks for ourdoor dining, an ‘other worldy’ feel comes from being faced with freestanding recycled windows, old lanterns, creepers, rusting implements and pots, and bricked paths and arbours. Tours are available, as well as any number of tempting treats on the licorice, chocolate, ginger theme…or devonshire tea/coffee in front of the open fire with live music adding to the mellow mood.
Join us for the Red Bubble Rumble in this area next year! Click here to read preliminary details. The Tourist Park is excellent (Gail and I sussed it out on the weekend) and is filling so if you want a cabin, it would be well to book.
