Taken, with permission, in the restored shed at Ackerman’s Cottage, Hill End, NSW Australia …a wonderful collection of old glass and pottery bottles catching the midday light. In a gold mining area such as this, one can only imagine the stories they could tell.

I suffer from viewfinder vision (find myself visualising a frame around everything I see) so my genre is “anything that moves and most things that don’t”!!

I don’t so much wish to document places and things, as to evoke feeling and emotion.

This leads to a diverse portfolio and constantly overloaded external hard drives…not to mention some burning of the midnight oil as I keep looking for that elusive perfect process for yet another ‘masterpiece’!!!

Excellent, I would have added a little more light at th bottom.

  • Thanks for the input Warren – I appreciate your eagle eye. There was more light at the bottom (!) but because a couple of old dishes impinged on the image, I tried to subdue them a bit … thought they may have been distracting … ?
