We launched leggings! Step into a world of individuality.

Meandering country backroads is always an adventure – one never knows what is around the next corner. This classic old truck was ‘out to pasture’ in one of the paddocks of the Lachlan Shire (NSW Australia).

Processed in Photomatix (single jpeg x 3 at -1, 0, +1) and tweaked in CS3.

I suffer from viewfinder vision (find myself visualising a frame around everything I see) so my genre is “anything that moves and most things that don’t”!!

I don’t so much wish to document places and things, as to evoke feeling and emotion.

This leads to a diverse portfolio and constantly overloaded external hard drives…not to mention some burning of the midnight oil as I keep looking for that elusive perfect process for yet another ‘masterpiece’!!!

Yeb that is what happens to all things when the use by date has come up “Put into Pastures” I am on my way there.

  • I’m trying to rest but I don’t seem to be allowed – I guess that prevents rusting!! Never will you go out to pasture while there still a seascape to shoot mate …!

Wonderful find Rosalie. Our son has one of these gracing the entrance to his property up in the Perth hills and it’s a great talking point.
    Take care

  • Even on the edges of Sydney here there are a few properties with an old truck in the ‘front yard’! They sure make great subjects.

Great shot Rosalie, you see to have a lot of these abandoned trucks over there, they are always popping up lolx

  • There seems to be a tendency to allow them to rest where they expire Irene! Always makes for a great photo op. Thank you.

Great pic, colours and processing Rosalie.

  • I was surprised at the nice paintwork on the mudguards but the rest was pretty weathered … would be nice to know the story behind some of these relics.
