No matter how many times I travel our roads and potter off on strange ‘goat tracks’, I always seem to stumble across something new and amazing. We live in a beautiful country and this little known lookout at Long Point in the Morton National Park (NSW Australia) would hold its own against any of the more popular and tourist-ridden venues in the main Blue Mountains area!
At the bottom of this ravine the Shoalhaven River meanders through, complete with rapids, making it an ideal challenge for canoeists. There are walking tracks, although I’d consider those who could scale these precipitous ‘walls’ mountain goats!
I loved the way the clouds here mimic the shape of the mountains! Thunder was grumbling at the time, and within an hour I was driving through a wild storm complete with hail. Our weather is as diverse as our scenery!
