Rust 'n Roses ~ No 19 by Rosalie Dale

Canvas Prints

Available to buy on…

As two of my previous Rust ’n Roses series have sold as canvases in the real world, I need to fill the wall space … so am trying a slightly different approach. Feeling that the portrait format will be how I finally supply them ….

Created in CS3 from the original rose shot, 2 rust photos, and one of raindrops blended.

I suffer from viewfinder vision (find myself visualising a frame around everything I see) so my genre is “anything that moves and most things that don’t”!!

I don’t so much wish to document places and things, as to evoke feeling and emotion.

This leads to a diverse portfolio and constantly overloaded external hard drives…not to mention some burning of the midnight oil as I keep looking for that elusive perfect process for yet another ‘masterpiece’!!!

Looks beautiful Rosalie. I can see a girl fairy with a pink hat on her head riding a magical pink horse. Lol, I haven’t been drinking either, lol.

  • Fun what we see isn’t it! I see a dancer with one arm in the air! The previous one I see a couple (male to the right, female in the petal ‘dress’) embracing. Thanks so much for the fav Sharon.

I’m a big fan of portrait style Rosalie, this looks fabulous, how good do those little rain drops look!! The tonings are so well blended..

  • Thanks Di – it takes me longer to choose toning rust shots etc to blend in than it does to process the whole thing! Off to get 3 of these to canvas tomorrow …

Beautiful Rosalie. Portrait works fine here.

  • This one is a different shape but I still think for hanging on the wall I’ll go back to portrait format. Thanks Gail
