Classic Tractor No 2
Along with the old Dodge truck and a few other rusted vehicles, this tractor has been pushed to the side of a dirt road not far from my home. I thought she deserved to be dressed up and immortalised (being the rusty, crusty freak that I am!!) ... so here she is!
Classic Tractor No 2 belongs to the following groups:

A Sheer Delight, Rosalie !!! The lighting is superb and adds a new dimension to it and the image has got a real sense of struggle and despair in that tractor !!
Rosalie Dale IPA replied
Phil you are kind – this was another image which sat in my ‘processed’ file for weeks, till I finally was game to upload! Strange how we have these crises of confidence…so thanks for the thumbs up!

Ha – I lurk a lot Marie!!! It also pays to have someone available who has local knowledge and can do some ‘spotting’ for you! Thanks for the kind words.
Jason Connolly
Excellent capture Rosalie, it looks so sad the way it has been abandoned and it sinking too.. love that tint you have given it..
Do they not have scrap yards round your parts?? LOL, what with all these old wrecks you keep shooting.
Great work and find my friend.
Rosalie Dale IPA replied
Funny how people don’t seem to bother about scrap yards with these old vehicles Jason. Actually the scrap metal market is thriving and quite lucrative – it seems some people just like to have them around as icons!!! Not that I’m complaining! Pleased you like it my friend.
bribiedamo

You’ve scored again, Rosalie. The muted quality of the tones realy add to the atmosphere. Gives a kind of sad grandeur to it. Really great shot!!

Amazing how someone can make an old broken down tracter look so wonderful … The lighting is fantastic … If I took this shot it would look like a broken down old tractor .. How does that happen.
Rosalie Dale IPA replied
Ahhh I took a few liberties here and used a tiny bit of cosmetic help to dolly up the old girl Lee!!! She has a bit of edging and light from a couple of filters in photoshop (you would agree that as we get older we can do with all the help we can get?!!) ... !!! Pleased you like her.
tess1731
Yeap I do agree with that one Rosalie … LOL … Maybe I could send you a picture of myself you could doll it up for me …. hehehheheh
