Inquisitive . . .
The cows were pretty curious – mind you they probably didn’t normally have many humans at that time of the morning disturbing their peaceful start to the day!!Inquisitive . . . belongs to the following groups:

great image Rosalie, you can almost read its thoughts
Noelene Davies
Love this Rosalie and I hope you were careful because this cow could have chased you out of the paddock.lol Love the colours and the surroundings.Remind’s me of here.
Craig Shadbolt
Love the colours and the sky Rosalie. Lucky it seems fairly docile…
Rosalie Dale IPA
Thanks Robert – they were not backward about sussing me out!
Noelene – I’m an old farm girl so I wasn’t pushing the boundaries too far – there was also a bull and one eye was firmly on him!
Shaddy – the fence (such as it was!!!) was between us – and I had my running shoes on!
Thanks all for the visit and kind comments. This was taken at 5.20am (I still can’t believe it!!! Not me!!!) so it was beautiful soft light.
Sarah Moore
Cool shot – good thing there was that fence it doesnt look very happy about you being there!
Rosalie Dale IPA
The bull was even less happy – he came right over but thankfully he seemed to understand my soothing utterances! Perhaps the miracle of me getting up so early carried over to protection from the beasties also!
Carisma
This is very very very lovely!!!!!!!!!
margo
This is really striking Rosalie. Love the positioning and the colours. Sure it would look great in Gallery 26.
Antanas
great composition
Rosalie Dale IPA
Carisma thank you – early morning light certainly helps!
Hmmm Margo I don’t think Steve’s open to bribery and corruption – but I do like this photo with the black frame! Thank you.
Antanas I appreciate your comment …
Craig Hender
Ha, this looks like our old cow Bertha! My Grand daughter feeds her weetbix of all things! Great shot Rosalie, the colours are very good.
Rosalie Dale IPA
I can well imagine her eating weetbix – they’re made from wheat after all!!! I’ve always had a soft spot for cows – something about those big soppy eyes! Thanks Craig for your kind words and visit.
ktowers
wow fantastic , great work, love the perspective & light
Rosalie Dale IPA
Thank you – fortunately it was a rise in the ground so I didn’t have to get down too far to get this shot (there’s always the problem of getting back up again!)
richiedean
Nice one Rosalie ….. have a better look ..
Kofoed
You are certainly brave, Rosalie. I don’t think I should have the guts….
But the result is most beautiful. Excellently composed, the light and the colours are beautiful.
Ellen
Very beautiful!!
Rosalie Dale IPA
Thanks Richie – should have done that myself (too late to think straight!!) – sure looks good in the black frame.
Kofoed – they weren’t too bad – and probably, like me, a bit sleepy. Pleased you like it my friend.
Thanks Ellen – a bit different to your cute mice!

ah – the hills are alive with the sound of moo-sic
Rosalie Dale IPA
OK – I will pay that one – love it Dave!!
Ken Aitchison
What makes this “cow landscape” work is the angle and composition. This could have been a dull shot, but you made an “ordinary” subject extraordinary.
Rosalie Dale IPA
Ken I am flattered. Having looked at your shots, I have a way to go yet!! Thank you for the encouragement.
Hagen
Excellent
Rosalie Dale IPA
Hagan thank you – he almost looks like one of your cartoon characters!!!
Eyal Nahmias
I love this point of view and angle. Wonderful and fun image full of vibrancy, color, and depth.
Rosalie Dale IPA
Eyal I do appreciate your comment – thank you!
George Lenz
he looks so lonely… well done..
Rosalie Dale IPA
I think he’s having a lend of you gemlenz – there were other cattle around but this shot has isolated him in that early light !!! Thank you .
Barbara Morrison
Great cow. We have cattle, but they think they’re pets. They are always looking for oranges.
Barbara Morrison
Is there a “Cow Group”?
Rosalie Dale IPA replied
Thanks for your kind comments Barbara – I don’t remember seeing a Cow Group actually!!! Maybe you should suggest one!!! I love their soft faces … used to live on a farm so I guess it goes back to my childhood.
RLHall
Wonderful shot!
Rosalie Dale IPA
Thanks Rhonda – had a heap of photos from that morning but I think this one summed it up … what is this dumb human doing disturbing us before sunup!!!
Sue Ellen Thom...
Love this shot. It’s so real to life.
