Of gossamer leaves and faerie wings . . .

I got carried away tonight when I should have been doing other things (so, what’s new!!) and this is the result.

Dedicated to my gorgeous granddaughters Meg and Zoe who found this large bug-eaten leaf in my backyard. The appearance of spun gold is actually how the camera picked this up (on opaque perspex background).

    This is glorious! Spun gold…. and so beautiful RD. But what is opaque perspex background ? A question I would love to know. Not as progressed, as some.. :) xo

    Thank you for the fav!!! Perspex is an acrylic plastic sheeting – in this case it is fairly dense white and is great particularly for putting against a window, then photographing e.g. a flower against it – lets through just enough light to enhance the image without washing it out. In this case, I had it laying down with the leaf on top of it. :)
