Great work! The texture is just right…well roses only have a few days life span so even if this rose’s days are over, there is so much life left when you leave this bit and it produces more seeds….!

Many years ago Joan Baez produced an album called ‘Diamonds and Rust’. You could easily produce a series called ‘Roses and Rust’. Beautifully combined elements here Rosalie. Roses are beautiful whether they are in bud, in full bloom or in gracious decline. Love the composition and presentation here. Margo.

One does seem to aim to photograph all the nice and pretty things in life. It’s good that you show otherwise. As for mirrors — I have a mirror in my bathroom that has been in the family for some 55 years and it shows me every morning that I don’t need to shave yet, even though I feel the stubble. Maybe your mirror was bought too recently!
