I was at Oberon over easter and in the pine forests. I took a couple of shots of these gorgeous red mushroom also. Not nearly as nice as yours. Great shot.

They are there…definately…my grandma told me…she was a wise lady… Fairies…..Some are shy, some a cheeky…no doubt, the minute you turned your back they jumped out and poked out their little tongues and laughed. ;-)

Just fabulous, Rosalie! Wonderful rich colours and lovely composition. Who needs LSD when you have these? When I was a kid we called them toadstools; though I’ve never actually seen a toad sitting on one. I think you’re on to something about Santa though; it would explain a lot about him.

This is so stunning! How can something so beautiful be so poisonous! I hope that little creature munching on it is still around. In German we call this “Fliegenpilz” and we learn from early childhood not to touch (or eat :D)..wonderful! Marita
