Free range eggs . . .
This is another image which was a ‘dud’, shot on the run at a food expo with my point n shoot (Canon G7) – some work in CS3 recovered the image but it then sat in a file for two months while I deliberated whether or not to upload! The recovery involved is very similar to that used for The Lamp for which I wrote a tutorial. I guess I just enjoy a challenge … hate to throw anything out!

WONDERFUL!!! The warm light on the brown eggs and picture in the background – perfect!!
Rosalie Dale IPA replied
Thanks Tibby – it was a bit of a sneaky shot – stall holders aren’t always OK about you taking pics of their wares!

You are amazing, my dear Aussie friend. This is fantastic.. I think you could hold classes in your area and make tons of money. LOL
Rosalie Dale IPA replied
I wish Sue!!! That would be wonderful … not sure that the need it out there. Perhaps I should put out some ‘feelers’ !!! Thanks so much for the enthusiastic encouragement.

LOL – you certainly do hate to throw anything out! But it was worth it on this one…great job Mum.

OK so I’m a pack rat – but the junk does come in handy sometimes!!!! (AND I’ve just cleared 25gb of pics from my 2nd external drive – I now need therapy to cope!)

Nothing like a free ranged egg Rosalie, if you put a lid on while they cook and the white comes across then you know it is fresh and they are even better. Fabulous capture and processing.
Rosalie Dale IPA replied
I can remember it being my job to collect eggs as a kid on the farm Noelene (not all hens were too keen to let you take their stash!) ... I have always wanted to get back to having my own chooks again .. certainly nothing like the fresh, ‘real’ egg!! Thanks for the kind words.

A wonderful image, Rosalie !!! Superb editing has given it a real old fashioned country atmosphere. An image that belongs in the pages of Aussie history !!
Rosalie Dale IPA replied
Much appreciated Phil. Pleased you find it nostalgic too!

Lovely image Rosalie, very well done, and you can have a few chooks in your yard, why not, I love my fresh eggs and so do my neighbours.
Rosalie Dale IPA replied
I have strange success with my chooks Josie – firstly I am not entirely sure my Council allows them, secondly the one time I made an attempt to keep two cute chickens quietly in my yard, they grew up to be large roosters crowing to greet the dawn!! Not the best scenario in suburbia.

This is just outstanding. You have created a lovely light on the eggs and I love the depth you have created . Just lovely!
Rosalie Dale IPA replied
Glad you like it Marjorie – thank you!
