The Farmer's Daughter

My granddaughter Zoe photographed on my back verandah yesterday, Treated in CS3 to create a nostalgic image – original photograph plus two photos of textured material and the ‘ticking’ background were used.

Thanks to Sarah for saving me from total baldness by offering advice, finding the appropriate background, and helping with finishing tweaks! (Now to remember the shortcuts!!!)

    She’d just had dance classes – I couldn’t resist the ‘classic’ look so we rigged up a very dodgy sheet for a background, and fired off some shots – getting from an imagined image to the real thing then took quite a lot of trial and error! Thanks Irene for the kind words.

    Hey Sooz – we also had attempts at silhouettes of “James Bond” type poses from Zoe – we had to stop – it was too much of a crack-up with an 18mth old ‘helping’ at the same time – that will have to wait for another day!!     May i ask dear Rosalie.. do a little search and you find my two Granddaughter too.. one (Alicia-6) in a post stamp frame .. the other Liliane (3) wrestling and onother ‘flying’ on elephants :-) Both live in Montreal.. alas.. so only see them 2×2 weeks a year..
    So now also you understand why yourphoto of YOUR princessdid stand out for me
