lovely Rosalie, is it your garden????
Rosalie Dale IPA replied
I wish!! No it is a local suburban block given over to some unusual plants and trees – so restful and yes, it would be wonderful to own (as long as you had a resident gardener!). Thanks lovely lady for the visit …

Beautiful Rosalie. We used to grown hollyhocks back in England in our previous life. Lovely shot. Peter
Rosalie Dale IPA replied
Hollyhocks always seem a British thing to me!!! Thanks for the visit and kind words Peter. (Does this image appear darkish??? Now that I’ve uploaded it it seems a lot less vibrant! Strange)

You need a squadron of volunteers to do this Gail!

just lovely! feels like i’m walking down the path! (could these be digitalis?)
Rosalie Dale IPA replied
Oh goodness – I think you are right Victoria – I have always believed these to be hollyhocks (probably from children’s picture books featuring Mary Mary Quite Contrary!!!) but I just looked up Wikipedia, and I have been misled my whole life – they ARE ‘common digitalis’!!! (Not so common in Australia) Thank you for pointing that out!
Marvin Collins
Beautiful colors and lighting in this Rosalie!!
