Anticipation ~ 2
Another shot from the Rail Transport Museum at Thirlmere in the Southern Highlands of NSW (Australia), taken in July 08 … I have been searching for a dapper gentleman to match my Flapper in Anticipation ... could this be the one?! Some film grain and effects added to hopefully suggest a byegone era.

G’day Rosalie!
At Last! You have found a companion for your Diaphanous Flapper! Dapper and Flapper make a wonderful pair. One can imagine them approaching each other, from opposite ends of the train. A brief pause. Each gives the other a quick “once over”. Yes, each can see through the other… They think there and then that their fates will be irrevocably tied. D&F will wander and waft through the passageways and compartments of the train, their bodies entwined in an etherial embrace….
PS: I love this picture! I love the whole series! :)george

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives … whoops, wrong era! These ghostly figures do appear destined to spend their days gliding through the corridors of the old carriage, enticing us with thoughts of yesteryear. Thank you for your assistance in locating the Flapper’s Dapper Dandy George!! He worked well … :)
