This is terrific Rosalie and we actually have a wildflower over here that is almost identical to this – lamb’s tail or something similar it’s called. Peter

  • Rosalie Dale IPA replied

Perhaps it is the same thing Peter! Clover makes great feed for stock – the little flowers actually contribute to the most beautiful honey – I guess it is a bit more than a weed really!

  • Claire Farley

Well put together Rosalie. If we can’t see/find joy the simple things, then what is our worth. Yep, I love weeds, just not in my garden….that means work! I do have to wonder about flowers in the bush. Are they weeds or wildflowers? They are all so pretty.

  • Rosalie Dale IPA replied

I count most things as ‘flowers’ Claire and even got annoyed when a fellow ripped lantana out of my garden – it was making a nice display growing through my white picket fence!!! Thanks for the encouragement.

Fantastic capture, glorious Clover top. Beautiful colours. and they have so many uses. I noticed one of our local nurseries were selling giant clover(Trifolium) and the heads were about 6 inches across, they were giants., and very beautiful. hugs xxx

  • Rosalie Dale IPA replied

Wow I didn’t realise there was a larger variety – it would be very attractive!

Wonderful. All of our flowers were weeds once until we clever humans cultivated them …

  • George Petrovsky

    George Petrovsky

    G’day Rosalie!
Indeed, the beauties of Creation are all around us, if we care to look. Sometimes, past the obvious splendour of the “bouquet” flowers, to the most humble and oft downtrodden clovers and daisies. You have the eye and the ability to focus on things overlooked by mere mortals, giving a better appreciation of the world we have been given. :)george

  • Rosalie Dale IPA replied

I suspect it does us good to be reminded of God’s attention to detail, even in the tiniest and most humble of plants! Thank you for the kind words George.
