G’day Rosalie,

I much prefer this one as its simplicity makes for a less cluttered, better composition and the darker “stained” look is more effective.
A also feel that the rose could have been rotated a bit more clockwise so we could see the “face” of the flower with all its curves.
The lighting, exposure and processing have rendered a nice light painting and the tones and contrast are very good.
