Nature's Sculpture
Taken on the way to McMahons Lookout, Wentworth Falls (Blue Mountains, Australia) in April 2008. The entire pine forest was lichen-covered … I felt this fallen tree made a wonderful natural sculpture.
The Blue Mountains are World Heritage listed – while people visit The Three Sisters and the more popular falls and lookouts in their tens of thousands, this area down Kings Tableland Road is relatively untouched and well worth a visit
Nature's Sculpture belongs to the following groups:
Former DPF Members and National Parks of the WorldAvailable for sale as Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints, Framed Prints and Posters

Excellent find Rosalie, I like the finish, well done!! You’re going to have to give me your formula for this finish sometime when you get time.

There’s that Rosalie beautiful editing again. What a shot – the moss – the bare tree – and that angle. Just so well done.

Rosalie Dale IPA in reply to Marvin Collins’s comment, 2 months ago
Hey Marvin – shame we all can’t sit down in a big room and demonstrate these things isn’t it!!! What a lot of fun we’d have.
I’ve bubbled you with some info – see how you go – otherwise I’ll try and get some kind of formula worked out!

Nature provided the scene Rog – I just framed it really! One of the great things about this hobby is how it keeps one grounded and in touch with the Creator!

I wouldn’t expect anything less from a fun-guy like you Tonny!
Rosalie Dale IPA in reply to Darren Sharp’s comment, 2 months ago
Wow Darren I do hope the red and white mushies are still out for you – they were so prolific!!! These pines are the ideal breeding ground – just don’t let the kids eat ‘em or you’ll need to tie lead balloons to their feet! (Hmmmmmm incidentally I suspect you’ve dropped off my watchlist – why does that happen occasionally? I’ll go check!!)
