Persistence

I find it hard to believe that the mushroom actually pushed the iron off the ground, but it makes a great image! Found in the pine forest at Wentworth Falls, Blue Mountains Australia a few weeks ago.

    I know of people who wear a miner’s helmets with lights attached when seriously shooting shrooms Max – I wasn’t that keen (or prepared!!) so made do with a little ‘darkroom’ help here!

    Ahmad it was an accidental finding!! We stopped to shoot the misty pine forest, and also found masses of these mushrooms. Because I like rust, went to take a pic of this sheet of old iron, and found a hidden treasure! You never know what is going to pop up!

    Yes I heard that Tassie the place for these fungi – they do seem to like a particular kind of pine/birch tree??? Now I know what to look for I have found a few more but they dry out very quickly and go yuck!! Thanks Josie.
