The magnificent cathedral of Mdina towering over the high walls built by, first the Arab rule, and then made as the city is seen today, agter 500 years by the Knights of St John. The Knights came from Rhodes and rules Malta for 268 years. They have left outstanding heritage most of which is still standing, for instance the capital city of Malta, Valletta, which is renowned as World Heritage City.

Photo is taken with a Canon S3 IS, and post processed in HDR. HDR is when a shot is bracketed in 3 different shots, one for shadows, one for highlights and the other is a normal shot. Then these are processed by means of software, namely PS. These shots were taken while hand holding the camera but for the best effect is is best to use a tripod.
